Hello! I'm a software engineer at Flipster working on building a financial exchange for crypto-currency trading.
Previously, I graduated from KAIST with a BSc in Computer Science (with a double major in Electrical Engineering).
During my time at KAIST, I've done multiple internships at various companies:
- a robotics startup
- a real-estate tokenization and financial exchange startup
- a medium-sized quantitative trading firm
... working on:
- applications of computer-vision models like YOLO, CNN, ShuffleNet
- synthetic data generation for neural-net training using Unreal Engine
- building a financial exchange for trading tokenized real-estate
- micro-optimizing financial indicator libraries for high-frequency trading
When I'm not building stuff, I love going for a walk (to hit my 10,000 daily steps), playing and building strategies in Counter-Strike 2, and reading (text)books.
I rarely read fiction but I believe fiction deficiency is dangerous. So I set a yearly fiction goal. In 2026, I want to read 11 fiction books:
To improve my thinking and writing skills, I mostly do private writing. When I feel like I have something to share, I (will) blog (mainly about software engineering and business in the age of AI, and traditional topics on computers).
